Joint-Stock Company "Hydroproject" is the lead design and survey organization within JSC "Uzbekhydroenergo", responsible for the development of the hydropower industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

JSC Hydroproject is the assignee of SAO Gides, established in December 1930 for the design and construction of hydroelectric power plants in the republics of Central Asia. The history of the institute is a long-term selfless work of the team and a reflection of the history of the country. 83 hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 9.7 million kW were built under the projects of Hydroproject JSC, which annually generate over 38.6 billion kWh of electricity.

The Institute is a design and survey organization for the integrated design of hydropower and hydrotechnical facilities, including industrial, residential and social infrastructure facilities, conducts field and cameral survey work, monitoring and field supervision of facilities under construction.

Hydroproject JSC performs design and survey work to ensure the reliability and safety of existing hydroelectric power plants, the construction of new hydropower, water management, industrial and civil facilities, road and railway tunnels, engineering facilities and landscaping both in Uzbekistan and abroad.

The quality of manufactured products is the most important indicator of the activity of Hydroproject JSC and is largely determined by the novelty and efficiency of design solutions. To ensure high quality that meets international standards for design and survey products, the organization has developed and implemented a quality management system in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015.

Hydroproject JSC has been a permanent member of the international Hydroproject Association since 2002 and has a “Certificate of admission to work on the preparation of project documentation for capital construction projects” and is valid both on the territory of our state and on the territory of the Russian Federation without limitation of validity.

As far as possible, the organization surrounds our veterans with care and attention, gives special priorities to the development and training of young people, using various forms of training, creating conditions for internships, facilitating their familiarization with design estimates, regulatory and technical documentation.
