By July 1, the construction of 41 hydroelectric power plants in Andijan, 32 in Namangan and 27 in Ferghana will begin.

The President promised that by July 1 of this year, a total of 100 hydroelectric power plants will be built in Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana.

"By July 1, the construction of 41 microelectric power plants in Andijan, 32 in Namangan and 27 in Ferghana will begin. The 1st deputy myors of the regions will be responsible for the proper organization of these works on the ground, solving issues," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

In addition, 160-megawatt solar panels will also be put into operation in the valley areas.
