I am the support of Homeland
Since the first days of independence, Uzbekistan has created the National Army, capable of becoming a support and guarantor of sustainable and consistent democratic development, protecting material and spiritual values, independence, security and territorial integrity. On January 14, 1992, all military formations stationed in the territory of our country were transferred to the legal subordination of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For 31 years, this historic day has been celebrated as a great date, the foundation of our Armed Forces, inscribed in golden letters in the annals of our independence.
In connection with this celebration, on January 20 of this year, a patriotic hour on the theme "I am the support of the Motherland" was held in JSC "Hydroproject". The event was organized within the framework of the relevant order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 22, 2021, as well as measures for the preparation and holding of festive events attached to the document. The seminar was attended by heads and specialists of the central office and subordinate enterprises.
The history of the creation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the development strategy and the priority tasks set for the army of New Uzbekistan were considered. In particular, it was noted that today, within the framework of building a new state and a free civil society, relying on the principles of democracy, giving priority to such an important task as strengthening peace and stability - our truly invaluable asset, a number of resolutions and decrees have been adopted in recent years in order to implement the tasks set and strengthen their legal foundations, including the Defense Doctrine of the Republic of Uzbekistan in a new edition. The need to educate the youth of the country in the military-patriotic spirit, increase their love and devotion to their native land was also emphasized. The fulfillment of these tasks will contribute to the further strengthening of the security and defense capability of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
