The Naghlu Hydroelectric Power Station (HPS) is a hydroelectric power station located on the Kabul River in Kabul Province, Afghanistan. It is located 40 km from Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The hydroelectric power station has a capacity of 100 MW, making it the most powerful power station in Afghanistan. At the beginning of the 21st century, only three of the four generators were operational. The dam is 110 meters high and 280 meters long. The reservoir formed by the Naghlu HPS on the Kabul River has a capacity of 550 million cubic meters.
